What I have been up to…

I have had the great pleasure of working with some amazing people on many terrific projects in my career.

2020, as for the entire planet, was an interesting year. It gave me a new perspective, not only on the imagery I create but the way in which I create it. Compassion and collaboration are more important than ever and my approach is one of calm efficiency with a strong visual.

Since the industry has restarted its engine, I’ve completed shooting on the limited series ‘With Intent’ for Fremantle Media (Channel10 Aus/Channel 5 UK) and am currently shooting the Feature Film ‘Shame’, which is a journey into the depths a women will go when pushed to the edge of life, death and sanity.

Previous to this I had the pleasure to work as 2nd Unit D.P. on the US Series ‘Preacher’ for Sony/AMC. I have also filmed The Inbestigators for Netflix/Gristmill, Back in Very Small Business, House Husband Season 5, Upper Middle Bogan, Here Come The Habibs, Little Lunch and The EX-PM to list a few. I also had the privilege of collaborating on the Documentary ‘Gurrumul’ which received rave reviews and multiple AACTA nominations, including best Cinematography.

What next…

My past

Some may call it a CV. For me it’s all just great memories.

I started Freelance in 1991 and quickly tired of working as a Runner which led me to become a Grip for six years. After realising my true passion was for creating imagery I side stepped into the Camera Department where I worked as a Focus Puller for over a decade. After learning from the greats of Australian Cinematography I began operating on many projects and finally arrived where I am today. A working Director of Photography.
